Anouk Vos is partner and Cyber Security / Innovation lead at Revnext. She has ten years of experience as strategic cyber security advisor for (inter)national government bodies, multinationals and NGOs. Amongst others, she has worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the National Cyber Security Centre and as Cyber Security lead of a strategic advisory office. It never ceases to amaze Anouk how often those in the board room have no idea of what is happening “under the hood” of their organisation, both in terms of vulnerabilities of the technology and opportunities for the future. Positioning cyber security before the process rather than as an afterthought, she endeavours to make organisations function at the absolute forefront of innovation.
Anouk Vos studied international relations and development studies and specialised in new security threats. Besides her efforts at Revnext, she is President of the Women in Cyber Security Foundation, a worldwide network of women who are fighting for a digitally safer world. She won the Lof Spotlight prize for Female Leadership in 2015 and was included in the Viva 400 of 2016. She was elected one of the Inspiring Fifty in 2016 and 2017 – the fifty most inspiring women in the technology sector. In 2017, she won the title of businesswoman of the year in Rotterdam in the category of “Upcoming Talent”.
